How to Import/Export Queries Fast

Import/Export is essentially a copy-paste function for your Queries between Google Sheets files. It’s designed for people who manage multiple files.

How To Import/Export Queries

Export from Source File

  1. Open Detrics sidebar on the file that contains the Queries you want to export
  2. Go to See Queries
  3. Click on Export (will have an arrow pointing up ↑)

Import to Destination File

  1. Open Detrics sidebar in the file where you want the Queries imported
  2. Go to See Queries
  3. Click on Import

Configure Your New Queries

Done! All Queries are now copied to the new file. Final steps:
  • Change accounts associated to each Query
  • Run Queries to populate your data
  • Schedule automatic refresh for each Query
