Dimensions

Dimensions are the attributes you can use to segment and group your Bing Webmaster Tools data.

Most Used


Site URL	The verified site (property) the data belongs to. Field Name: `SITE_URL` Type: dimension
Query	The search query that surfaced your site on Bing. Selecting this returns the top queries report. Field Name: `QUERY` Type: dimension
Page	The page URL that appeared in Bing search results. Selecting this returns the top pages report. Cannot be combined with Query. Field Name: `PAGE` Type: dimension

Crawl Issues


Issue URL	URL where Bing discovered a crawl issue. Returns the crawl issues report. Field Name: `ISSUE_URL` Type: dimension
Issue Type	Type of issue Bing found while crawling the URL (e.g. blocked by robots.txt, HTTP error, malware). Field Name: `ISSUE_TYPE` Type: dimension
Issue HTTP Code	The last HTTP status code Bing received when crawling the URL. Field Name: `ISSUE_HTTP_CODE` Type: dimension

Sitemaps


Feed URL	URL of a submitted sitemap or feed. Returns the sitemaps report. Field Name: `FEED_URL` Type: dimension
Feed Type	The feed format — Sitemap, Sitemap Index, Atom, RSS, Text, etc. Field Name: `FEED_TYPE` Type: dimension
Feed Status	Current processing status of the sitemap/feed in Bing. Field Name: `FEED_STATUS` Type: dimension
Compressed	Whether the submitted sitemap/feed is compressed (Yes/No). Field Name: `FEED_COMPRESSED` Type: dimension
Submitted Date	Date the sitemap/feed was last submitted to Bing (blank if never submitted). Field Name: `FEED_SUBMITTED_DATE` Type: dimension
Last Crawled Date	Date Bing last crawled the sitemap/feed. Field Name: `FEED_LAST_CRAWLED_DATE` Type: dimension

Blocked URLs


Blocked URL	A URL or directory blocked from Bing’s index. Returns the blocked URLs report. Field Name: `BLOCKED_URL` Type: dimension
Entity Type	Whether the block applies to a single page or a directory. Field Name: `BLOCKED_ENTITY_TYPE` Type: dimension
Request Type	The kind of block requested (e.g. cache-only removal or a full block). Field Name: `BLOCKED_REQUEST_TYPE` Type: dimension
Blocked Date	Date the URL was blocked. Field Name: `BLOCKED_DATE` Type: dimension

Metrics

Metrics are the numerical values you can measure and analyze from your Bing Webmaster Tools campaigns.

Most Used


Impressions	Number of times a link to your site appeared in Bing search results. Field Name: `impressions` Type: metric
Clicks	Number of times a link to your site was clicked from Bing search results. Field Name: `clicks` Type: metric
Avg Impression Position	Impression-weighted average position of your site in Bing results. Only available with the Query or Page dimension. Field Name: `avgImpressionPosition` Type: metric
Avg Click Position	Click-weighted average position of your clicked results. Only available with the Query or Page dimension. Bing frequently leaves this unpopulated (returns 0). Field Name: `avgClickPosition` Type: metric

Crawl Stats


Crawled Pages	Number of pages Bing crawled. Returns the crawl stats report (daily time-series). Field Name: `crawledPages` Type: metric
Pages In Index	Total number of your pages stored in Bing’s index (running total — shows the latest value over the range). Field Name: `pagesInIndex` Type: metric
Inbound Links	Total number of inbound links pointing to your site (running total — shows the latest value over the range). Field Name: `inboundLinks` Type: metric
Crawl Errors	Number of errors encountered while crawling. Field Name: `crawlErrors` Type: metric
HTTP 2xx	Number of crawled pages that returned an HTTP 2xx status. Field Name: `httpCode2xx` Type: metric
HTTP 301	Number of pages returning HTTP 301 (moved permanently). Field Name: `httpCode301` Type: metric
HTTP 302	Number of pages returning HTTP 302 (moved temporarily). Field Name: `httpCode302` Type: metric
HTTP 4xx	Number of crawled pages that returned an HTTP 4xx status. Field Name: `httpCode4xx` Type: metric
HTTP 5xx	Number of crawled pages that returned an HTTP 5xx status. Field Name: `httpCode5xx` Type: metric
Other HTTP Codes	Number of crawled pages returning any other HTTP status code. Field Name: `httpCodeOther` Type: metric
Blocked By Robots.txt	Number of pages Bing was blocked from crawling by robots.txt. Field Name: `blockedByRobotsTxt` Type: metric
Pages With Malware	Number of crawled pages flagged as containing malware. Field Name: `pagesWithMalware` Type: metric
Connection Timeouts	Number of pages where the crawl request timed out. Field Name: `connectionTimeouts` Type: metric
DNS Failures	Number of pages that failed to crawl due to a DNS failure. Field Name: `dnsFailures` Type: metric

Inbound Links	Number of inbound links to the URL that has the crawl issue. Field Name: `issueInboundLinks` Type: metric

Sitemaps


File Size (bytes)	Size of the submitted sitemap/feed file, in bytes. Field Name: `feedFileSize` Type: metric
URL Count	Number of URLs contained in the sitemap (or sitemaps in an index file). Field Name: `feedUrlCount` Type: metric

Blocked URLs


Blocked URL Count	Number of blocked URLs, counted per the selected dimension (e.g. by entity type or request type). Field Name: `blockedUrlsCount` Type: metric
