# Looker Studio Troubleshooting Guide

> Solutions for common issues

This guide addresses common scenarios where users can't find specific features or
accounts in Looker Studio connectors.

## Platform-Specific Issues

### Shopify: Connecting Additional Stores

**Issue:** You've connected one Shopify store and want to add another, but can't find the option to connect a new store in the Looker connector.

**Solution:**

1. Install the Detrics Shopify app on all stores you want to connect
2. Visit the [Shopify App Store](https://apps.shopify.com/detrics?utm_source=detrics-support\&utm_medium=looker-studio-troubleshooting)
3. Install the app on your additional stores
4. Return to the Looker Studio connector and refresh the page
5. Your new stores will appear in the account selection dropdown

  Each Shopify store needs the Detrics app installed before it can be connected
  to Looker Studio.

### Google Analytics 4: Custom Dimensions and Metrics

**Issue:** You need custom dimensions and metrics from Google Analytics 4, but can't find them in the Looker Studio connector.

**Solution:**
Custom dimensions and metrics are an advanced feature available through our Google Sheets integration:

1. Visit [Detrics Google Sheets](https://detrics.io/get-started?utm_source=detrics-support\&utm_medium=looker-studio-troubleshooting)
2. Install the Google Sheets Add-on
3. Connect your GA4 account there for access to custom fields
4. Create queries with your custom dimensions and metrics

### Facebook Ads: Custom Pixel Events

**Issue:** Looking for custom Facebook Pixel events data in Looker Studio but can't find them.

**Solution:**
Custom Pixel events are available through our Google Sheets integration:

1. Go to [Detrics Google Sheets](https://detrics.io/get-started?utm_source=detrics-support\&utm_medium=looker-studio-troubleshooting)
2. Install the Google Sheets Add-on
3. Connect your Facebook Ads account
4. Access custom Pixel events through the advanced query builder

### TikTok Ads: Missing Ad Accounts

**Issue:** Can't find your TikTok ad account in the Looker Studio connector dropdown.

**Solution:**
To refresh the list of available TikTok ad accounts:

1. Visit [Detrics Google Sheets](https://detrics.io/get-started?utm_source=detrics-support\&utm_medium=looker-studio-troubleshooting)
2. Install the Google Sheets Add-on
3. Reconnect your TikTok Ads account
4. This will refresh the permissions and available accounts
5. Return to Looker Studio - your accounts should now be visible
