# How to Import/Export Queries Fast

> Quickly transfer Queries between Sheets with Detrics' import/export functionality

# How to Import/Export Queries Fast

Import/Export is essentially a **copy-paste function for your Queries** between Google Sheets files. It's designed for people who manage multiple files.

## How To Import/Export Queries

<Steps>
  <Step title="Export from Source File">
    1. Open Detrics sidebar on the file that contains the Queries you want to export
    2. Go to **See Queries**
    3. Click on **Export** (will have an arrow pointing up ↑)
  </Step>

  <Step title="Import to Destination File">
    1. Open Detrics sidebar in the file where you want the Queries imported
    2. Go to **See Queries**
    3. Click on **Import**
  </Step>

  <Step title="Configure Your New Queries">
    Done! All Queries are now copied to the new file. Final steps:

    * Change accounts associated to each Query
    * Run Queries to populate your data
    * Schedule automatic refresh for each Query
